Inaugural Rock City Music Video Awards Featuring “The Match-Up” Competition
Offering Discounts to Filmmakers Who complete Low Key Arts FILMMAKER Master Classes
Made in Arkansas is thrilled to announce the inaugural Rock City Music Video Awards featuring music videos created for “The Match-Up,” a new timed filmmaking competition that matches filmmakers with songs created by Arkansas musicians.
On the evening of Thursday, September 5th filmmakers will gather in Little Rock, Arkansas to draw a song created by Arkansas musicians. They will then be given 72 hours to create a music video using that song. The music videos that are created for The Match-Up must be filmed in Arkansas and will screen for audiences during the Rock City Video Music Awards at CALS Ron Robinson Theater in Little Rock on Saturday, October 12, 2019.
To assist any aspiring or established filmmakers prepare for The Match-Up, Made in Arkansas will be offering a special discount on The Match-Up Registration Fee to anybody who completes one or all of the Low Key Arts Filmmaker Master Classes in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Filmmakers who complete at least one of the classes will be offered a 20% discount off The Match-Up Registration Fee. Filmmakers who complete all four of the Master Classes will receive a 40% discount off the Registration Fee.
Along with videos created during The Match-Up, the Rock City Music Video Awards will feature music videos submitted by filmmakers from around the world via FilmFreeway.
More information on the Rock City Music Video Awards and The Match-Up will be released in the coming weeks with registration and music video submissions opening on April 1.
